Work began in earnest in March. The incentive of the delivery of over 700 hedging plants certainly ensured that the work moved up a gear. No longer was the garden an idea, it was a slightly scary and demanding reality!

Add to that 300m of fencing, with over 150 posts to get into the ground and over 15000 staples and there was suddenly an awful lot to do…

Thankfully, we found a guardian angel in Mick Hardesty, local builder, without whom we simply could not have managed to get as much done in as short a time.
