Vegetable Garden

Meeting again

Throughout most of May (the driest on record I think!), Al and Reet had to bear the burden of watering the vegetable garden and the trees.  But when lockdown was eased to allow meeting of groups of up to six people outside (with social distancing), it began to be easier to meet up again and to help with keeping Carmel alive.

The vegetable garden was growing in earnest and we were able to start to give some of our salad crop to The Pantry, a group run by Gateway Vineyard Church in Norwich, to provide food parcels to people adversely effected by the pandemic.

The rabbits and the deer continued to try us and we started to erect a shed (pictures to follow)!

You can see all the goings on if you take a look at the photos to the right of this page.
