Summertime and the living is easy, or so the song goes.  Not at Carmel!  The long border was planted up and more furniture renovation took place.  We finally erected signs at the entrance and Nancy continued her incredible work, clearing and planting up the bank that borders the long edge of the meadow.

And we got bees!  Courtesy of some friends, we took delivery of 2 hives of honey bees to add to the diversity of our the meadow.  That’s not to mention the endless round of watering, grass cutting and weeding!
