In September we held our first ‘work party’ and were blessed with wonderful weather and fantastic friends who helped us to finish off our pond.

The first job was the groundwork which took place in the preceding week with huge help from Evans Agri Services (aka Al and Rita’s son).

The aim of the work party was to install the pond liner and underlay so that the heavens could open in the autumn and make our water feature.

We completed all the work and the kids finished off the day with a hose soaking in the new pond (it was a hot day!)
