Sometimes, a look back at photos of the month remind us of how varied the work is here at Carmel.

This month, Al and Rita took delivery of beekeeping suits, meaning that they can get closer to the hives when gardening and help with the bees next year.  The heavens did indeed open and fill the pond and we re-sited the overflow pipe that runs into it.

Last of all we carried on completing tidying activities including taking down and cleaning the tent ready for winter, clearing the veg beds now that crops have finished and clearing away the finished perennials.
