Summer is here!
The meadow burst into life in June. The borders were full of colour, from the over-sized dandelion heads of the purple allium to the soft pink foxglove spires and glorious sweet-smelling roses. Everywhere green things were growing, including the grass and the nettles unfortunately!
We also became host to beehives – we are so proud to be encouraging more wildlife and ecological diversity into the meadow. The bees will pollinate our crops and flowers and reward us with gorgeous local honey.
