Work began in earnest this year as we are look forward to our first veg growing season.

The frames were built a while ago and now they are being pressed into service.  A busy day was spent marking out where they will be sited so that turf can be removed, soil dug over and plenty of organic material added to feed our lovely plants!

On the slightly more laborious, and less interesting side, more work is needed to keep our site rabbit free, which means even more posts and wire fencing.  If Peter Rabbit wants to get into our field now, imagine what he and his friends will be like when we have juicy young plants for them to chomp on….

Work on the planning permission is continuing behind the scenes and we are doing all we can to make sure everything is ready for spring!
